What is Sugaring?

Sugaring has been talked about in all sorts of social media platforms, websites, and featured in magazines such as Allure, SELF, Cosmopolitan, and more!

Short answer: Sugaring is ancient form of hair removal. Similar to the idea of waxing, but the details are different and they make a big difference.

How Does it Work?

Simply put, Sugaring is made up of a sugar, lemon, and water mixture. There is no heat involved. A body temperature sugar ball is applied to the area of desired hair removal applying it against hair growth direction and removing with hair growth direction in quick small pulls. Because the sugar only exfoliates the surface of skin, it can be reapplied multiple times to the same area of skin. There are minimal bumps and irritation afterward, if any. It lasts approximately 3-4 weeks, works for all hair types, and is especially great for those with sensitive skin!
